はじめまして。

みなさんにとって、彫刻とはどのようなものでしょう？
私は、祖父と父が彫刻家（木彫家）という家庭で育ちました。
小さい頃、制作の様子を見ているのは楽しいことでした。
大きな木が、木取り、荒彫り、小作り、仕上げという段階を経て、
かわいらしい小動物や、優しいお顔の仏様、
いきいきとした肖像へと姿を変えていきます。
まるで、魔法のようでした！
彫刻に親しみを持っていただけたらうれしいです。

What does a sculpture look like to you?
I grew up in a family where my grandfather and father were sculptors (wood carvers).
When I was little, watching the production was fun.
Large trees go through the stages of wood removal, rough carving, small making, and finishing
Cute little animals, Buddha with a gentle face,
We will change into a lively portrait.
It was like magic!
